Derek Timmons is a top notch person and a realtor you want in your corner. We approached him in March to sell our house in Airdrie due to a relocation. There was a high degree of anxiety on our part given the tight timeline for our move and all the things we had to get done. Luckily Derek’s team is very organized and they looked after all the details to get our home show ready. Derek was always a text or call away. After our move my rental property in Calgary became vacant and therefore I listed with Derek in May for that condo. I was very apprehensive about that property in particular because I’d tried to sell before with no luck. I am happy to say both the house and condo have sold and we couldn’t be more thankful. One of my favorite things about Derek is how he looks after client interests. As this review might suggest, my husband and I at times felt desperate to get rid of these properties, but Derek never took shortcuts or a quick deal just to take advantage of that. He worked tirelessly to ensure we got a good deal on both that we were happy with. I know he’ll do the same for you.

The sale of my home in Deer Ridge finalized today with the deposit of proceeds into my bank account. I must say that it was a very stressful time, since at the same time I had a health problem that temporarily affected my cognitive functions and energy. Derek and his team were so incredibly patient, kind and understanding.They gave me so much extra help that was above and beyond the call of any professional, and I felt as if they treated me like family. What an absolute pleasure it is to give a 5 Star review to the best real estate team in Alberta – without question. I found Derek Timmons through an internet search of top realtors in Airdrie and he was at the top of the list. We came to learn why. We had a house to sell fast as I had accepted a job offer in another province. Derek and his team gave us some tangible goals to get the house ready, and then his team set to work on getting our house professionally staged and listed quickly with maximum exposure. Not only did he handle my off the charts anxiety well, but also became someone I now call a friend. He worked tirelessly to find our buyer, dealt professionally with an extremely difficult buyer and agent and got us top dollar in a very challenging market. We loved Derek’s style and knowledge so much that we chose to use him again to sell our investment condo. Our experience was exceptional, Derek made the whole process seamless. Melissa kept us informed every step of the way and Brandy staged our home beautifully. The photographs were absolutely lovely. My husband and I worked with Graham Doody to buy our first home together this past November/December 2024. Right off the bat Graham was great at working with our complicated shift work schedules and never missed a beat accommodating the strange availability we had, typically later at night than most normal people. My husband and I had recently moved to the Calgary area from BC and Graham was very helpful in giving us insight into some of the differences in the Alberta market that we didn’t know about. I found his insights on properties to be very helpful and things we would not have thought of on our own or through our own research. Graham worked with my wife and I to buy our first home in December 2024. Graham was amazing and worked extremely hard to find us what we needed. In short: He was friendly and easy-going, being able to relax us and quiet our anxiety about the decision. He was hard working and tenacious, driving throughout the city at all hours and fighting hard during negotiations. And he was respectful and knowledgable, communicating well with both of us and sharing his experience and knowledge. More detail: What I appreciated the most about Graham was his openness about his own life and experiences. He spoke to us about his family life over the years and shared some of his wisdom with us that helped us with our decision. This quieted some of our anxiety and indecisiveness as we tried to envision our future. I also appreciated Graham’s quiet tenacity, which showed in his work ethic and when it came to negotiations. Graham was always available by phone and worked with us and our terrible work schedules to do viewings at all hours. Graham is polite and nice but don’t let that fool you, he will fight hard for his clients to get a great deal. We were referred to Derek Timmons by our friend to buy a new home while we were deciding to relocate to Calgary. He was so accommodating as being new in town we didn’t have a car and clue where we were. He gave us a short tour around Calgary and introduced to different neighborhoods and his advice as we wanted to be closer to our family!
