I don’t even know where to start because Jamie McLachlin with the Maverick Group was absolutely amazing throughout our entire home-buying experience. My husband and I are relatively new to Calgary and have been renting for almost two years since moving here. With our lease coming to an end, we decided it was finally time to purchase a home. I had found a few houses I was interested in and reached out to different real estate agents who had listings available. In a single day, she managed to get us into five listings during the day and then arranged for us to revisit those same five homes again that evening with our family — a total of 10 showings in one day! Her dedication, organization, and commitment were truly incredible. Not only did Jamie help us find the perfect home, but we were able to make an offer and have everything finalized within just days. The entire process was seamless because Jamie handled all the heavy lifting. She answered every single question my husband and I had, was always prompt, incredibly knowledgeable, and consistently went above and beyond for us. I honestly cannot recommend Jamie enough. Her personality is amazing, she genuinely cares about her clients, and she absolutely knows how to get things done. Our journey to our new perfect home started when my dad put us in touch with Derek who took the time to introduce himself and find out what we were needing and then had the lovely Jamie assist us the rest of the way. To say this experience was excellent would be an understatement. Jamie took the time to really find out what we needed and gave us exactly that! Every question we had was answered promptly and never left us hanging and appointments were made to see properties so quickly. Also we have an 11 week old baby and every time we viewed a house Jamie would go the extra mile and entertain our little one so we could really do a good look at the house, it was so appreciated!! I got the lovely experience to work with both Jamie and Derek due to a bit of a unique situation my buying process turned into for my first home.
